Top Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Costa Rica: Q1 2025

During the first quarter of 2025, the performance of navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Costa Rica showed varied trends. Here's an overview based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 4.8K in mid-January. The app's active user base remained stable, averaging around 165K throughout the quarter, with a slight dip towards the end.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw weekly downloads fluctuate, peaking at 3.3K in mid-January, while weekly active users hovered around 113K, showing minor variations.

Google Earth experienced consistent downloads, averaging about 650 weekly, with active users slightly declining from 4.5K to around 4.4K over the quarter.

MapXplorer: Navigation, Radar showed a notable increase in both downloads and revenue. Downloads surged to over 500 in late March, while revenue climbed to $133 by the end of the quarter. Active users also grew significantly, reaching 629.

Circuit Route Planner had a modest performance with weekly downloads averaging around 220. Revenue was relatively stable, peaking at $50 in early February, and active users remained consistent around the 500 mark.
